The Flawed Status Quo

Across a combined 50+ years in the financial industry, founders Betsy Moszeter and Jason Britton independently came to recognize the fundamental flaws in the prevailing approach to values-driven investment. They experienced how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data was poorly calculated and utilized, often yielding similarly disappointing results. The problem stemmed from the industry’s reliance on third-party vendor data, typically used as a shallow screen or an add-on to conventional processes. This methodology fails to capture the complete picture of a company’s influence, resulting in portfolios that are both ethically opaque and financially under-optimized. They were each working on deploying solutions to this flawed system that neither truly reflects an investor's values nor adequately addresses the systemic risks and opportunities driving the future economy.

The Harbor Ridge Redefinition: A Converged Mission

Now partnered at last, they established Harbor Ridge Investments to fundamentally redefine this process, merging their decades of experience and complementary expertise. Leveraging the innovative, patented technology and rigorous framework Jason Britton pioneered through Reflection Analytics, and Betsy’s expertise in structuring and scaling client-focused, institutional-quality firms, Harbor Ridge provides institutional-quality investment portfolios where client values are not an afterthought but the central pillar of security selection.

Harbor Ridge is the powerful realization of Jason and Betsy’s converged mission: to deliver transparent, compliant, and conviction-driven investment accounts that achieve meaningful impact and robust financial outcomes in the rapidly evolving global marketplace. Furthermore, as a women-led and majority woman-owned firm, Harbor Ridge embodies the very ethos of forward-thinking impact investing.
